Town wins Best Kept Village Award |

Buckingham has reclaimed the Michaelis Cup in the 2008 Best Kept Village in Bucks competition. In addition the town was awarded the Sword of Excellence plaque for the winner with the highest marks. Buckingham last won the cup in 2005. Counsellor Howard Mordue, Mayor of Buckingham said, "Buckingham deserves the award.
