This year sees the welcome return of the Buckingham Fringe - a week of events sponsored by Buckingham Town Council that includes comedy and music.

Starting on Saturday 16 June and concluding on Saturday 23 June, the week includes an evening with comedian Seann Walsh and music from the Oxford Fiddle Group, the Winslow-based Blues Brothers and the Keith Templeman Quartet.


Confirmed events and dates are as follows:

  • Buckingham Race for Life: 16-17 June at Bourton Meadow Academy
  • Seann Walsh, supported by  Romesh Ranganathan: 17 June at the Old Town Hall, 8pm, £15
  • Cream Teas & Music: Villiers Hotel, Buckingham. 18 June, 1pm - 4pm with music provided by the Keith Templeman Quartet
  • Oxford Fiddle Group: 20 June at the Buckingham Community Centre
  • Karaoke Nite & Disco: 20 June at 13 High Street, 8pm until late.
  • Ghosts of Buckingham Past: 21 June, 8pm - 10pm, with local historian Ed Grimsdale in association with The Buckingham Society, £2.50
  • Blues Brothers: 22 June at the Buckingham Community Centre, £6
  • Melody Room Jazz Band: 23 June, 8pm - 11pm at Buckingham Athletic Sports & Social Club, Stratford Road, £6.50

Tickets are required for some of these events and are available from the Old Gaol Tourist Information Centre.
